People in our life
Today while walking through the supermarket, I came across the DVD section where my eyes caught hold of the movie, "Gods must be crazy". That was the last decent gift (liked by the person) I had ever bought in my life. It felt like deja vu, I bought the same movie in CD format 5 years ago on the streets of Chennai. 5 years later, 10000 miles away I came across the same movie at the same time. If there was a god, he must really be crazy. I grabbed the DVD and bought it, but this time I'm not presenting to anyone. It is gonna be with me.
I had a long day since my parents were packing as they are flying back home tomorrow. I had to go through a lot of emotions, but I felt really happy for some reason. Not it wasn't because they were leaving but something unexplainable. I really wished good luck to all my good friends. Got some good news from a couple of friends, one had bought a house and was all set to start a new life and another graduated with flying colors. In the evening, I took my family out for dinner(my treat for nextweek) and asked a friend to join us. A family gettogether after nearly 3 years but in a different country. 27th has been a good day with so many friends having been born on this lovely day. I wish them all good life ahead.
Now I logged in to check my emails and one of the inspirational group mails drops in. I wanted to digitize this. It is really how I like to lead my life.
People In Our Life
During my second month of school, our professor gave us a pop quiz.
I was a conscientious student and had breezed through the questions, until I read the last one: "What is the first name of the woman who cleans the school?" Surely, this was some kind of joke.
I had seen the cleaning woman several times. She was tall, dark-haired and in her 50s, but how would I know her name?
I handed in my paper, leaving the last question blank.
Just before class ended, one student asked if the last question would count toward our quiz grade.
"Absolutely," said the professor. "In your careers, you will meet many people. All are significant. They deserve your attention and care, even if all you do is smile and say 'hello'."
I've never forgotten that lesson. I also spoke to her, learned her name and said Thanks!
Thanks

Really glad to know that you had a good day, mate. 'Good Day(s)' seem to be in rather short supply these days.
Take care. All the best. Hope and pray that you have more good days coming your way.
Clink.
To my surprise it turned out to be a feel good day. I realized anger won't help, instead I wanted to wish my loved ones well :).
THe story taught me that everyone whom i've met in my life is important. Some are really special no matter what!
Felt really happy that they were doing well. Hence a good day.
But on the other side, had severe headache but strolled on.. these things don't pain anymore. :)
Like you, I'm looking forward to THE day :)
